Something is off. You are tired in a way that sleep does not fix. The weight showed up without an invitation and will not leave, even though you have not changed a thing about how you eat or move. Your sleep is broken. Your patience is shorter than it used to be. Your cycle is doing things it has never done.
So you did the responsible thing. You went to your doctor, they ran some blood work, and then came the sentence that probably sent you looking for this page.
Everything looks normal.
And you sat there thinking, then why do I feel like a stranger in my own body?
Those normal ranges your doctor uses are answering exactly one question. Are you sick? Are you, medically speaking, in trouble? And the answer, thank goodness, is usually no.
That gap, between not sick and actually well, is where perimenopause lives. Your hormones can drop by forty percent and still land inside normal. Your thyroid can slow down, your blood sugar can creep up, your iron stores can quietly drain, and every single number on that report comes back with no little flag next to it.
So you get told you are fine. And you walk out feeling crazy, because you know you are not fine.
This is not your doctor failing you. Your doctor was trained to catch disease, and when you are trained to see the world one way, you genuinely cannot see it another. Perimenopause is not a disease. So it falls straight through the crack between sick and well, and you fall through with it. Sometimes for years.
I am Sabrina, and before I was any of the things on my website, I was a woman who could not figure out what was wrong with her own body.
By training I have a Master of Health Science and I am a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant. I have been providing anesthesia since 2008 in hospitals all over South Florida. Which is to say I am not new to medicine and I am not easily rattled by it. So when my own body started falling apart, I figured I, of all people, would be able to sort it out.
I could not.
My hip hurt so much I could barely stand it and nobody could tell me why. I would get heart palpitations out of absolutely nowhere. I was gaining weight in places I had never had weight before. And I was tired. Not regular tired. Tired to the bone, need a nap or I might die tired. I was anxious and depressed, which had never once been me.
Something was very wrong. So I did everything a medically trained person does. MRIs. Bloodwork. Cardiology. My gynecologist. Specialist after specialist. And every single one of them told me the same thing. They could not find anything wrong.
Then one day perimenopause scrolled across my Instagram feed and I stopped and thought, wait. Is that me?
I was 37. It was 2021. That little question sent me down a rabbit hole I never climbed back out of, and it is the entire reason this program exists.
How many more nights looking at your brush, and the drain, doing the math on how much is left.
How many more afternoons undoing the button on your jeans at two o'clock, hoping nobody noticed.
How many more glasses of wine you do not finish because you already know how you will feel at three in the morning.
How many more periods heavier than the last one, that leave you flattened for three days, that you have stopped mentioning because the last person you told said it was normal.
How many more mornings that start with you snapping at someone who did not deserve it, and then sitting in the car in the driveway for a minute before you can go back in.
How many more times are you going to walk into a room and stand there, trying to remember what you came in for.
How many more days feeling like two entirely different women between Tuesday and Thursday, or honestly between breakfast and dinner, and wondering if you are losing your mind.
You are not losing your mind. That is the mechanism, not you. And a mechanism is something we can work with.
Your nervous system has been running in threat mode for years. Cortisol stays elevated when it should be falling, which is why you wake at 3am, why you hold fluid, why you are bloated regardless of what you ate.
Underneath that, you are depleted. Heavy cycles drain iron faster than you replace it. A gut under chronic stress stops absorbing properly, so the supplements you are already taking are not fully getting in. And low iron stalls the conversion of thyroid hormone into its active form, which is the real reason two clean weeks stopped moving anything.
And your hormones are shifting. They are. But hormones given to a depleted, inflamed body get bound up and wasted, which is why women who start there often feel very little and conclude hormones do not work for them.
It is not that they do not work. It is that the order was wrong.
Your testing, chosen for your specific picture rather than a fixed panel. Comprehensive blood work read against optimal ranges, and depending on what your history suggests, a four-point cortisol curve, GI-MAP gut testing, DUTCH hormone metabolite testing, organic acids or genetic testing.
Your nervous system comes out of threat mode. Cortisol falls, fluid releases, sleep consolidates, and your gut calms.
Targeted gut repair based on what your testing actually found, then refilling what you have been running without, in the order your body can use it.
Hormones sequenced to what your results support, with the reasoning explained so you are part of the decision.
Your plan, your data, your next decade.
Twelve weeks.
These are the tests we draw from. Your protocol uses the ones your specific picture calls for, not all of them, because the right testing is not the same for every woman. Your program includes a testing allowance, and once I have read your intake I will tell you exactly which tests I am choosing and what, if anything, falls outside it.
The same draw your doctor ran, read differently. We are looking for the range where women feel well, not the range that means you are not sick. This is where the thyroid that is technically fine, the ferritin that has quietly drained, and the blood sugar that has crept up all become visible.
Cortisol measured across an entire day rather than guessed from a single draw at a single moment. This is what explains waking at 3am, the fluid you are holding, the afternoon wall, and the wired but exhausted feeling that does not make sense on paper.
Your microbiome, your digestion, and what your gut is doing to your absorption. This is where stubborn bloating, unpredictable bathroom habits, food sensitivities that appeared out of nowhere, and supplements that never seem to do anything all come from.
Not only how much hormone you have, but how your body is processing and clearing it. Two women with identical estrogen levels can feel completely different, and this is usually why.
How your cells are making energy and what they are short of while doing it. This is the one that explains heavy brain fog, exhaustion that sleep does not touch, and sleep that never quite restores you.
Where your biology is predisposed, so your protocol is built for how you are actually built rather than for the average.
Supplements and medications are billed separately and are not part of the program fee.
Sleeping through the night. Bloating easing. The scale moving for the first time in months. Rings looser.
Energy holding past 2pm. Getting dressed without checking the mirror first. Something left at 6pm.
Cycles regulating. Shedding slowing. Effort counting again. And twelve weeks of your own data, side by side, showing exactly what changed.
"After being told by other providers that my labs were normal, I finally got real answers at Hydra Prime Aesthetics & Wellness with Sabrina. She took the time to truly review my labs, explain what was being missed, and connect them to how I was feeling. Thanks to her personalized, integrative approach, I feel better than I have in years. If you know something is off but have been told everything looks fine, Sabrina is the provider you need to see."
